‘Tastes Like Home’ is a series for Destination NSW bringing to light stories of renown chefs who are creatively inspired by their cultural heritage.

Luke Piccolo of Limone Dining, Griffith, shares with us his love of preserving the cooking techniques and traditions passed down from his Nonna.

His signature dish, Pigeon and Polenta, showcases what would be an Italian peasant dish. One with locally farmed ingredients, using an inexpensive and accessible bird with a zero-waste approach.
